Brenda Conner Holten

Brenda Conner Holten, 49, of Carson, VA, died suddenly on Monday, September 12, 2016. Brenda was a 1985 graduate of Dinwiddie High School. A former employee of Heritage Pennzoil, she was also a former employee and close friend of H.A. Phillingane & Sons Construction. She was currently a dedicated employee of General Dynamics Information Technology. Brenda enjoyed cooking and loved to host parties and entertain her friends. She was an accomplished consultant for Pampered Chef and Style Dots. Her new Style Dots venture satisfied her desire to share her bling with others. Brenda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lewis Kirkland, Sr. and Kathryn Kirkland; paternal grandparents, Page and Elizabeth Conner; and uncle, Alan Conner. She is survived by her husband, Scott Holten; son, Conner Frazier; step-son, Zac Holten; parents, Robert Lane and Rebecca Kirkland Conner; special cousin, Jennifer Miller; aunts and uncles, Roger Conner (Linda), John Conner (Becky), Don Conner (Sue), Billy Williams (Brenda), Wayne Conner, Chuck Conner, Tammy Knott (Kyle), Peggy Baugh, Fay Grissom, Brenda Kirkland, Gaynelle Wray (William), Lewis Kirkland, Jr. (Brenda), and Robbie Kirkland (Barbara); numerous other family members; her fur babies, Ms. Rosie and Bandit; and her devoted friends, “The Girls.” A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed by entombment at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
