Brenda Mae Winfield

Brenda Mae Winfield of Carson, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 8, 2015. She was loved by many and had a kind and loving spirit. Her passing was unexpected and left many hearts broken. Though she is not here, the love she left behind for her loved ones and friends will carry us through this rough time. She was preceded in death by her father, Enoch Charles Harris; her mother, Catherine O. Holley; her stepfather, John Holley; her brother, Enoch Charles Harris Jr.; and her grandson, Dustin Fisher.

She leaves behind her husband and best friend, James (Shaker) Winfield; her daughters, Peggy Simon (Mark); Anita Graham (David), Robin Kegley (Jim); son, Frank Moneymaker Jr. (Rikki); stepson, Frank E. Moneymaker (Penny); stepdaughters, Barbra McCormack (John), Jennifer Winfield, Joanna Brockwell (Marc); brothers, David Harris (Nancy), Billy Harris (Betty), Mike Harris (Irene) and Donnie Harris; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandkids; one great-great-grandchild; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Petersburg. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 12, 2015, at the funeral home at 2 o'clock. Interment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. After the service family will receive friends at 4507 Tatum Road, Disputanta, VA 23842.
