Brenda Darlene Woods

Brenda Darlene Woods (Nana) was born to Frances Hughes and Edgar Woods July 5th, 1955 in Richmond, Virginia. She passed away on the evening of April 25th, 2018 at the age of 62. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Angel Cull, son-in-law, Derek Cull, and grandchildren, Daisy and Jonah. Brenda was the middle child of seven. From oldest to youngest, Joan Dale (Phil), Darrell (Teresa), Dennis, Casey (Cricket), Tracey (Tim), and Stacey. Brenda enjoyed good bargains and puzzles, but hated to lose. She loved to care for people. Children always brought her an abundance of joy throughout the years. It brought her much happiness watching over her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews born into the family. Brenda was strong willed and would never let you sweat the small stuff. She was sure to let you know how to stick up for yourself and she always kept others needs in mind. Brenda, mama, nana, sister, friend will always be missed. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 1st from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road. We will be having a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, on Wednesday, May 2nd, at 1:00pm.
