Brentford Dwayne Grose

Brentford Dwayne Grose, 59, of N. Dinwiddie, VA, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brentford Hance Grose and Peggy Lorene Johnson Grose, and a niece, Jennifer Rushing. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Grose worked with the Petersburg Bureau of Police for over 15 years, and was most recently employed by Gerdau. He enjoyed the outdoors, and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Liggins and husband, Britt, and Jessica Grose; grandsons, Cale and Clint Liggins; a sister, Frances Taylor; step-mother, Dorothy Grose; and a nephew, Benjamin Fitzwater. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Walker Memorial Park, Summersville, WV.
