Brian Keith Lee, 55, of Colonial Heights, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 23, 2015. Born in Colonial Heights, he was the son of the late Robert E. Lee, Jr.; and was also preceded in death by, a sister, Robin Clampitt. Brian had two passions in his life which was serving his Lord and loving his family. Brian was a charter member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights where he had served as the music/choir director for 17 years, and had served as a deacon, the Sunday School Director and on many other committees in the church. He had worked for Butterworth’s furniture in Petersburg for 23 years before retiring in March of 2014. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Deborah “Debbie” Lee; one son, Jeremy K. Lee; a daughter, Ashley “Niki” Lee; one granddaughter, Kierston P. Lee; his mother, Peggy V. Lee; two brothers, Robert E. Lee, III and wife, Debra, and Christopher A. Lee and wife, Martha; one sister, Donna M. Lee; mother and father-in-law, Barbara and Stuart Wheelhouse, Jr.; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Clampitt, and Stuart M. Wheelhouse, III and wife, Marybeth; sister-in-law, Tricia W. Rowsey; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Swift Creek Baptist Church. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the church with the Rev. Dr. Stephen Felker, officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
