Brian Charles Mills

Brian Charles Mills, 48, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 25th, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Melissa M. Mills; two daughters, Sarah E. Mills and Mackenzie L. Clare; parents, Charles R. and Kitty W. Mills; siblings, Robert A. Mills, James “Stuart” Mills (Teri), Melissa M. Hawkins (Randy), and Christopher R. Mills; and numerous extended family. Brian excelled at his sales job with SolarTyme and loved to spend time with family and friends in his spare moments. He was great with his hands, a brilliant problem solver, and had a knack for working on cars. He was often heard saying “If man made it, I can fix it.” He cherished yearly beach trips with his family, loved to fish, golf, gardening and cooking. Most of all, Brian loved to help others and did so every opportunity he had. He will be remembered as the man who always said yes, and if he couldn't help, he certainly “knew a guy” who could. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 3rd, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. A reception will be held following the service at Bellwood Baptist Fellowship Hall, 9138 Quinnford Blvd., North Chesterfield, VA 23237.
