Brian Pursell

Brian Wayne Pursell, 47, of Kitty Hawk, NC, and Wakefield, VA, passed away in Kitty Hawk on May 1, 2011. Brian was a native of Virginia Beach and a graduate of First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach.
Brian was a real estate caretaker in Kitty Hawk and Wakefield. An avid outdoorsman, Brian lived to surf, fish, hunt and ride motorcycles. He went nowhere without his cherished dog and partner in fun, Rex.
Brian is survived by his parents, Donald Wayne Pursell and Eleanor Early Pursell; his two brothers, Darius Early Pursell and Donald Douthat Pursell, all of whom reside in Las Vegas, NV; uncle, James Russell Early, Jr. of Virginia Beach, and cousin, Loris G. Longest of Chester, VA.
A memorial gathering will be held on Brianâ??s street in Kitty Hawk on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 4:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Wakefield United Methodist Church in Wakefield, VA on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 11:00 am.
