Bruce Edward Faulkner, Sr.

Bruce Edward Faulkner, Sr., 59, of Dinwiddie, VA, departed this life on March 14, 2023. Born and raised in Petersburg, VA, he is preceded in death by his father, John William Faulkner, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Gay Faulkner; sons, Bruce Edward Faulkner, Jr. and his girlfriend, Heather, and Matthew William Faulkner and his wife, Sarah; daughter, Ashley Marie Faulkner; three granddaughters, Penelope, Skylar, and Kinley; his fiancé, Kristine Bolinsky; brother, Johnny Faulkner and his fiancé, Dayna Shawkey; nieces, Melissa Gayle Faulkner (son, Noah), Megan Nicole Faulkner (daughters, Emily and Nevaeh). Bruce was a friend to many and lived by his slogan, "Trust Bruce!". He was a plumber for many years and worked with his father at K&J Plumbing. A funeral service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2023, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend. The family will also receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, at the funeral home for visitation. At the conclusion of the service, the family welcomes friends to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony at the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge for a time of fellowship and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
