Brynleigh Jean Smith

Brynleigh Jean Smith, of Dinwiddie, born January 5, 2023, at 4:23 AM, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmothers, Gloria Stevens and Shelia Breedlove; maternal great-grandfather, Michael Beach, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Tammie Boykin. How very softly you tiptoed into my world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts. Brynleigh was the most precious baby girl ever and an absolute joy to be able to meet and hold. She is greatly loved and will be immensely missed. Brynleigh is survived by her mother, Taylor Renee Moore (Christopher Kestner); father, Rodney Smith; maternal great-grandmother, Jeanne Cosier (Stanley); maternal grandmother, Melissa Sawyer (Michael); maternal grandfather, Kevin Collins (Ashley); paternal grandfather, Alton Boykin; siblings, Alisana Harrell, Brooklyn Montanye, Jonah Montanye, Jr., Sailor Smith, and Kinsleigh Kestner; aunts, Savannah Collins (Dillon), Amber Deckerhoff, Elizabeth Deckerhoff, and Michelle Elsesser (Richard); uncle, Dawson Collins (Jessica); along with numerous extended family members. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Dinwiddie Chapel, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, on January 15, 2023, from 2 PM - 4 PM. A graveside service will be held on January 16, 2023, at 11 AM, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
