Calib Thomas

Calib Tyler Thomas, infant son of Kristen Sheppard and Dennis Thomas, Jr., was born February 24, 2009. He passed away Monday, March 9, 2009. In addition to his parents, Calib is survived by his maternal grandparents, Tamara and Hernan Cortez of Midlothian, VA and Keith Sheppard of Indiana; maternal great-grandparents, Franklin and Venida Shields of Church Road, Glenda Price of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and Martha Mason of Lynch Station, VA; paternal grandparents, Cynthia Kerr Lentz of Conway, SC, Dennis Thomas, Sr. of Petersburg; paternal great-grandparents, Gregory Kerr of Dinwiddie, and Phyllis Ross of Petersburg; aunts, Sabrina and Mary Jo Cortez, Rachel and Shelly Thomas; uncles, Travis Cortez and Timothy Owens, and a host of other loving and caring aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, at Mizpah Cemetery, Church Road, VA with Rev. Joyce Harville officiating.
