Calvin Brown

Calvin Delbert Brown, 82, of Prince George Co., died Friday, June 6, 2008. He was born in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was the son of the late Elisha R. and Lottie Doane Brown. He served in the Korean and WWII wars of the U.S. Army and was a member of Highland United Methodist Church and the Petersburg VFW Post # 622. He was a retired Salesperson and Sales Manager of Strosnider Chevrolet. He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Betty Lou Brown of Prince George; son, Dr. Calvin Roy Brown and wife, Linda Susan Brown of Chesterfield Co.; one grandchild, Kimberly M. Taylor, CPA and husband, Mayor Steven R. Taylor of Hopewell; sister, Elizabeth B. Littlejohn of Stilwell, OK; one great-granddaughter, Jordan Elizabeth Taylor of Hopewell and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am, Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
