Cameron James Young

Cameron James Young, 2, of Fort Lee, VA, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Chippenham Medical Center. He was born June 14, 2019 and met the eyes of Jesus February 13, 2022. Cameron was the son of Nicole Danielle Young. This child was absolutely one of a kind. Anyone that had met Cameron knows he lit up the room. Cameron loved watching cartoons, especially Mickey Mouse. Cameron also loved pizza, baseball, and going to daycare. At daycare, he had lots of friends and loved his teachers, who he called his Nuna, Papa, Ms. Valencia, and Ms. Terri. He was the boss of the room, man of the house, and a great ball of energy. Cameron gave us a lifetime of love during his short time on earth. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Judy Young. In addition to his mother, Cameron is survived by his grandfather, Jack Young; and his uncle, Nathan Young. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son, Hopewell Chapel, 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA 23860.
