Carl Edward Anderson

Carl Edward Anderson, 77, of Sutherland, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born in Luttrell, TN to the late Jesse Anderson and Genevia Griffin Anderson. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Euna and William. Carl is survived by his wife of 42 years, Joanne Anderson; two sons, Mark Anderson (Missi) and Charles Wright; a daughter, Laurie Ledford; four grandchildren, Joshua Daniel, Dylan Anderson, Caitlyn McCraw and Taylor McCraw; two siblings, Edra Booker and Macel Picca; a son-in-law, David Daniel; two brothers-in-law, Donald Barfield and Ronald Barfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a master electrician by trade and for fun he enjoyed operating amateur radio. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
