Carl Anthony Calhoun

Carl Anthony Calhoun, 58, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt F. Calhoun and Frances Leona Calhoun; and his brother, Scott Calhoun. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Griffin Calhoun; children, Crystal Calhoun (Daniel Bedard), Tracy Springston (Al), Amy Grunow (Quinton); brother, Emmitt J. Calhoun (Sindy); sister, Linda Miles; brother, Ronnie Calhoun (Karen); half-sisters, Debbie Gerke (Burt), Sylvia Lancey, Ollie Calhoun; grandchildren, Savannah, Harrison, Conner, and a grandson on the way; and mother in law, Barbara Griffin. Carl worked for the City of Hopewell with the City Garage. He was an avid car collector and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 31, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel, the family would prefer masks be worn at the visitation.
