Carl Cameron

Carl Albert Cameron, 78, of Roanoke, formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday July 30, 2011. He was the son of the late John Charles, Sr. & Elizabeth Atwater Cameron. Carl was a veteran of the United States Army where he was trained in Army Intelligence. He is survived by his sisters; Luray C. Schilbe & husband George of Martinsville, Juanita C. Jahnigen of Castle Rock Colorado, Joyce C. Branch & husband David of Bon Air, brothers; Glen F. Cameron & wife, Elaine of Hopewell, John C. Cameron, Jr. & wife, Ellen of Winnebow, NC, Donald A. Cameron & wife Christine of Lincolnton, Ga, Lewis W. Cameron & wife, Jeannie of Hopewell, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Wednesday August 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
