Carl Heisch

Carl Joseph Heisch, 84, of Midlothian, formerly of Mercerville NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Sunday March 27, 2011. He was predeceased by his parents, Karl & Anna Gerdes Heisch, sisters; Margaret Siepmann & Til Heisch. Carl served with the United States Navy during WWII as an Electronics Mate Third class, was an avid wine maker and a former member of The American Wine Society, making numerous award winning wines. He was retired from the Bayer Aspirin Company after 42 years of dedicated service, and was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Hamilton NJ. Carl is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, June G. Heisch, daughters; Susan Rouze & husband, Alan, Nancy Kozabo & husband, Bill, all of Chester, Karen Garey & husband Joe, of Hamilton Twp NJ, grandchildren; Christopher & Stephan Rouze, Deborah Hoskin, Scott Kozabo, all of Chester, Jennifer, Joey, & Nicole Garey all of Hamilton Twp NJ, sister; Ann Logoda of Carteret, NJ, 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday March 31, 2011 at the Chester Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, after which a funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM with Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.
