Carlos Ray Shockley Jr.

Carlos Ray Shockley, Jr., 74, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Shockley; and his sisters, Peggy and Linda. He is survived by his loving partner, Joyce Eubank; a brother, Charles E. Shockley; a granddaughter, Morgan Chewning; a niece, Nancy Henshaw and husband, Willie; thought of as an adopted daughter, Shelia Albert; and numerous extended family and friends. Mr. Shockley proudly served his country in the United Sates Army from 1966 to 1968, and then went on to retire from Phillip Morris after many years of service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park.
