Carlton Eugene Barricks

Carlton Eugene Barricks, Jr., 70, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Carlton E. Barricks, Sr. and Mary Ruth Jackson Barricks.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Barricks; son, Carlton Barricks, III.; daughter, Leah Murrell Barricks; grandson, Isaac Dylan Barricks; granddaughters, Pacey Christensen and Leila Jones; and stepsons, Bobby Christensen and Johnny Christensen; and his canine companion, Sweetie Pie.
Carlton had a strong passion for music and enjoyed listening to oldies. He loved to watch sports and root for his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the Washington Redskins. He was a five-time past worthy President at the Petersburg Eagles, two-time governor of the Dinwiddie Moose Lodge, and a member of Sal at American Legion post 2. These memberships were very important to him and he will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
