Carol Jeanne Burnette

Carol Jeanne Burnette, 81, of Chester, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Irene Bott; her husband, Ed Burnette; sisters, Mary Jane Watson and Bernie Kelly; brothers, Jerry, Tom, and Dave Bott. She is survived by her son, Scott Miller and wife, Kriss; daughter, Linda Stancill and husband, Dail; grandchildren, Morgan Miller, Cassie Nosser, Mallory, Elliott, Tyler, and Keenan Stancill; brother, Richard Bott and wife, Lynn; as well numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was a Registered Nurse and retired from McGuire Veterans Hospital with 30 years of service. She was a devout Christian and member of Enon Baptist Church, Carol enjoyed fellowship while attending Kingsland Baptist Church as well. The family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son Chester Chapel. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022. In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Carol can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
