Carol Ellis Jones

Carol Ellis Jones, 76, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born in Prince George County, VA she was the daughter of the late Alvin V. Ellis Sr. and Carrie Elizabeth Duesberry Ellis; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey William Jones; and her brother, Alvin V. “Buster” Ellis, Jr. Mrs. Jones loved to cook and was always the one to prepare the holiday meals. She was very family oriented and will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her two children, Deborah L. White and John J. Seckora; two grandchildren, Ronald E. “R.J.” White, Jr. and Ashleigh White; and two great-granddaughters, Iyannah and Julianna Dunbar. All services will be private.
