Carol Jean Oleyar

Carol Jean Oleyar,72, passed away and celebrated her heavenly birthday on March 11, 2021 at John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell, Virginia. Carol was born on August 20,1948 in Belzoni, Mississippi to Henry and Doris Long. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1967, where she pursued a career in cosmetology after graduation. She later worked for the Prince George County Public School system. In 1971 Carol married the love of her life Edward P. Oleyar. She was passionate about her family , her pets, reading, bowling, and travel. She was looking forward to another trip on a cruise ship this year.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Long, Doris Long Lynch, stepfather, Jack Lynch, husband, Ronald Liker, husband Edward P. Oleyar, Sr., daughter, Sandra Liker, Twin brother, Harold Dean Long and sister Faye Rhodes.
Carol was a loving mother and devoted daughter, wife, mother, and sister. She is survived by her son, Edward Paul Oleyar, Jr., Prince George VA, sisters Brenda Long Carner (Wayne), Richmond, VA, Debe Long Stanley, Chesapeake, VA, brother Lamar Graves, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that are left to cherish her memory.
