Carole Johnson Kreynus

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Carole Johnson Kreynus, of Hopewell, VA went to be with the Lord. She was surrounded by her loving family. Carole was the anchor of our family and will be sorely missed.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Pauline Johnson; she is also preceded in death by her husband, John Kreynus; daughter, Tracy Kreynus; and brother, Ronnie Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry K. Mathis (husband, Keith); sons, Sonny Kreynus and John L. Kreynus; granddaughter and constant companion, Amanda Kreynus; granddaughter, Savannah Scala (husband, Graham); grandsons, Todd Mathis, Josh Kreynus, Jase Kreynus, and Jason Goen; great-grandson, Miles Gresham; great-granddaughter, Saylor Kreynus; sisters, Karen (Penny) Logan and Linda Hatcher; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and her beloved dog and friend, Jackson.
The funeral service will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery. The family would like to invite you to attend a luncheon after the service at Karen's (Penny's) house at 10909 Crofton Court, Chester, VA 23831.
