Carole Macneil

Carole Rice MacNeil, 65, of Woodbine Street, Hopewell, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Lucy Corr Village, Chesterfield County. She was born in Jackson Heights, New York. Mrs. MacNeil was a member of St. James Catholic Church and a retired medical transcriptionist with Southside Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick S. and Lucille Margaret Fulmer Rice, Jr. and her husband, Earl A.M. MacNeil. Surviving are a daughter, Leila N. Harris of Chester, a son, Munir C. Nasr of Mechanicsville, Maryland, three step-daughters, Beverley M. Ambs and Carol M. Farthing, both of Chester, and Peggy M. Ledford of Richmond, three step-sons, Daniel J. MacNeil of Henrico, Stephen A. MacNeil of Colonial Heights, and Michael I. MacNeil of Chester, five grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, one great grandchild. A Memorial Mass of Christian Resurrection will be held Friday, December 10, 2004 at 3:00PM in St. James Catholic Church, with Rev. Daniel Bond, rector, officiating. A reception will follow in the church parish hall. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W.
