Caroline Wells

Caroline Howlett Wells, 90, fondly called â??Gracieâ? went to be with the Lord April 21, 2009. She was born Dec. 11, 1918 and is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clarence R. â??Bucketâ? Wells; a sister, Willnet H. Lockett of Colonial Heights; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard H. and Rhonda K. Wells of Deltaville; a granddaughter, Linda Christine Woodlief of Powhatan; a grandson, Michael James Wells of Fort Mill, SC and great-grandchildren, Colby Bryant Woodlief, Courtney Renee Wells and Kyle James Wells, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Caroline lived in Colonial Heights and had a summer residence in Deltaville. She was a lifelong member of Highland United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
