Carolyn Sue Canter

Carolyn S. Canter, 75, of Colonial Heights, died on Wednesday December 9, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Lottie Combs, McCormick; her first husband, James Jimmy Trent; her second husband, Gene Canter; her brothers, John McCormick, Keith McCormick; and her sisters, Beulah Aiken, Peggy Jaquette, and Charlotte McCormick. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Margie Trent; sons, James Trent, and John Trent; grandson, Trevor Trent; her sisters, Bonnie Maurer, and Patricia Coultas; a special nephew, Charles “Little Eddie” Woodard; and several other nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
