Carolyn Ummond

Carolyn Ann Drummond, age 67, passed away on May 11, 2011. A lifelong resident of Hopewell, Carolyn was the daughter of the late William Otis and Marion Wells Drummond. She is survived by her sister, Kathy L. Drummond; little â??Cuddlyâ?; aunts, Mary Slaughter of Petersburg and Mildred Davis of Hopewell; plus many cousins. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Powers Memorial Baptist Church, Hopewell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the ceremony. Interment will follow the funeral in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
