Carolyn Hawkins Lohr

Carolyn Hawkins Lohr, 75, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2015. She was the daughter of the late, Everette McCoy and Bertha Willis Hawkins. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Lohr, Jr. Carolyn was a faithful member of Chester Baptist Church. She is survived by her two sons, James E. Lohr III, and his wife, Edith, and Mike S. Lohr and his wife, Katie; two daughters, Heidi L. Hayes and her husband, Glenn, and Tammy L. Jeter and her husband, Jeff; ten grandchildren, Eddie, Cameron, Nick, Will, Hunter, Sydney, Allison, Tessa, Ashley, and Austin; two sisters, Joanna McCurry and her husband, Earl, and Rebecca Price, and husband, Roger; and other loving family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Carolyn Hawkins Lohr will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Chester Baptist Church with the Dr. Lloyd Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church. Interment will be private.
