Carolyn M. Qualls, 64, died Monday, November 19, 2007 at Ruxton Healthcare in Williamsburg, VA. Carolyn had worked as a Home Care Nurse, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and was a member of the O.E.S. #298 in Chattanooga, TN.
She is survived by three children, Anita Rowlett or Smyrna, TN, Paula Livingston and Jimmy Hill of Surry, VA; nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a sister, LaVelle Faris of Petersburg, VA. She was predeceased by her husband, James Wesley Qualls and her parents, Hubert Vernon Harrell and Lottie King Harrell.
The family will receive friends at the Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, on Tuesday evening, 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. Memorial donations may be made to Shrinersâ?? Hospital Transportation Fund, Khedive Shrine Center, 645 Woodlake Dr., Chesapeake, Va 23320.
