Carolyn Rathbone

Carolyn Snead Rathbone, 68, of Richmond, VA died Friday, June 15, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Druey Snead and Florence Moore Snead Strasser and the widow of Troy Rathbone. Carolyn graduated from Petersburg High School and did office work for various companies in the Petersburg and Richmond areas. Carolyn had several cats throughout the years and was fond of them all, especially Flossy. She is survived by her siblings, F.D. Snead and wife, Mary, Bobby Snead and wife, Nancy, William W. Strasser, III, Lloyd Strasser, and Barbara Skumatz and husband, Primus; nephews, Jerry, Danny, Jeff Silk and W.T. Strasser and several special cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 18, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Southlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Melvin Parker officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
