Carolyn Sutton

Carolyn Griggs Hall Sutton, of Richmond passed away quietly at home Sunday, November 14, 2004, after battling cancer. She was born September 10, 1946, in Mechanicsville, Va . and was the daughter of the late William Griggs and Elinore Thompson Griggs. She is survived by her husband, Thomas M. Sutton of the residence; seven children and one step-daughter; Keith Heath of Mechanicsville, Tammy and Dennis Sharpe of Danville, Va., Clifford and Tanya Gray of Colonial Heights, Va., Cynthia Gray of Chesterfield, Va., David Hornberger of Richmond, Va., Christopher Hornberger of Cumberland, Va., Virgil Milby of Richmond, Va., Tiffanie Sutton of Chesterfield, Va.; ten grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith and belonged to Walthall Baptist Church. Her special interest was her CB radio. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 18, 2004, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chesterfield Chapel of the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 17th from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
