Carolyn Vaughan

Carolyn Gayle Vaughan, 67, of Church Road went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late James Alvin and Florence Love Worley and the mother of the late Rick G. Vaughan. Carolyn was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher for 36 years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene A. Vaughan; daughter, Terri L. Willms and husband, Scott; granddaughter, Brittney T. Vaughan; siblings, Jean Hartley, Tommy Worley, Janet Kramm and Jerry Worley; brother-in-law, E.H. Vaughan; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday, January 8, 2007 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 9th at 11 am at Southside Baptist Church.
