Carolyn Faye Waddell

Carolyn Faye Waddell, 75, of North Dinwiddie, passed away on December 23, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gloria Bailey; her husband, Harry Lee Waddell, Sr.; and her aunt, Ruby Windham. Carolyn loved to dance, read books, and play cards. She enjoyed shopping, especially for her grandchildren whom she adored. She liked listening to music, especially Elvis Presley, the Beach Boys, and Conway Twitty. Carolyn is survived by her children, Tanya G. Faison, Tina M. Faison (Big Joe), Traci L. England (Thomas), Theresa A. Jessup (Scotty), and Anna M. Keene (Brian); grandchildren, David, Sondra, Joe Joe, Courtney (Adrian), Joseph (Valencia), Travis, Harlie, Bryan, Tyler, McKenzie, Brianna, and Bryson; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Stell (Clint) and Sherri Bailey; brother, Kirk Bailey (Debra); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home – Dinwiddie, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on December 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM with interment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered to the family at www.jtmorriss.com .
