Carolyn Young

Carolyn McQuage Young, 72, of Hopewell, died May 13, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Hopewell, VA and was a retired operator for American Filtrona. Mrs. McQuage was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Hattie Price McQuage and her husband, Charles Young, two brothers, Lance G. McQuage, Jr. and Thomas Joseph McQuage. Surviving are two sons, Bryan D. Young and Robert W. Young, a daughter, Donna L. Stagg, grandson Brenton D. Stagg, one brother, Franklin P. McQuage. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-7:30 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss 7 Son Funeral Gome. A Memorial service will be Monday, May 17, 2004 at 1 pm in the Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 1201 Blackstone Ave., Hopewell, with the Rev. Edward Bellis IV officiating.
