Carrie Jane Long, 72, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Ms. Long is preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Jane Bennett; her father, Homer Bennett; brothers, Clyde Bennett, Lloyd Bennett, Wilky Bennett, and Junior Bennett; and sisters, Oneida Clinton, and Louise Wagstaff. She is survived by her daughter, Michele E. Long; brother, Gerald Bennett; sister, Maxine Ames; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
