Carrie Mitchem

Carrie H. Mitchem, 50, of Hopewell, died Monday, June 13, 2005, at her residence. She is the daughter of Henry Hoffman and Effie Teal Hoffman. .Mrs. Mitchem was employed as an Instrumentation Technician with Honeywell. She is survived by her husband, Brett D. Mitchem, a son, Dewey A. Mitchem. Two daughters, Jennifer Collyer of Chester, Laura Drummond of Hampton, a step-son, Brett D. Mitchem, Jr. of Richmond, and a sister Faye Johnson of Bucklin Missouri. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hopewell Chapel. The Rev. Douglas Echols will officiate.
