Carrie Elizabeth Stone Rowsey

Carrie Elizabeth (Betsy) Rowsey, age 92, died peacefully on September 4, 2016 at Westchester Harbour in High Point, NC. Betsy was born January, 5, 1924 in Richmond, Virginia, the daughter of Thomas and Patricia Stone.
Weldon Rowsey, her husband of 73 years, preceded her in death on May 12, 2015. She is survived by her sons, Harry (Mitzi) Rowsey of High Point, NC and Carleton (Shirley) Rowsey of Wilson, NC; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to service from 10:45 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
