Carrie Walker

Carrie Walker, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 25, 2012 at South Roanoke Nursing Home in Roanoke, VA. She had resided most recently in Williamsburg, VA., and prior to that she resided in Colonial Heights, VA. Carrie was retired from the Federal Government as a payroll clerk and worked at both Fort Lee and Fort Eustis, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William H. Walker, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Langlois and son-in-law, Theodore Langlois of Fernandina Beach, FL; two granddaughters, Christy Arthur and her husband, Michael of Roanoke, VA, and Kendra Roberson and her husband, Stephen of Arlington, VA; two great-grandsons, Adam and Ryan Arthur of Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday March 1, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
