Carroll Franklin Bondurant

Carroll "Frank" Franklin Bondurant, 95, of Chesterfield,VA, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Born in Richmond, VA, he was the son of the late Carroll Oliver Bondurant and Mary Walters Bondurant. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Watkins Bondurant; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Moss; and son-in-law, Gary Williams.
Frank was part of the "greatest generation." He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. He was a hard worker and enjoyed it. He finally retired at the age of 90. Frank was someone who never met a stranger and enjoyed socializing. He is loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Mary Lynn Williams, Brian Bondurant (Karen), Bruce Bondurant (Cottie), and Susan Walters (Ricky); 8 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
