Carroll Franklin “Frank” Clay, Sr., 72, of Chester, a combat Vietnam Army veteran left this world on Friday, November 23, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Clay; son, Frank Clay, Jr., and wife, Dani; son, Kenny Todd; daughter, Elaine Oliver and wife, Anna Newsome; grandchildren, Rosey Mollaei and husband, Adel; Jimmy, Belle, Alex, Kaitlin, and Gewen Clay; great grandson, Mostafa Mollaei; and his beloved companion, Mercury. Frank served as a JAG officer for the Jeb Stuart SCV Unit until the effects of Agent Orange exposure left him unable to continue his duties. He served three years, 1967-1969 in Vietnam with the 151st Assault Helicopter Battalion. Frank received the Vietnam Campaign Metal with three Bronze Stars and one Silver Star for his service. Frank was loved by those who knew him and will be missed forever by us all. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T.
