Carroll Louis Tardy

Carroll Louis Tardy, 80, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was the son of the late Louis Walter Tardy and Arlene Pearl Bubar Tardy. Carroll proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and later worked in quality assurance for Whitehall Robins Pharmaceutical. He liked playing golf, listening to music, sitting outside enjoying the outdoors, and most of all spending time with his family. He lived with a strong faith in our Lord and had a great love of the USA. Carroll is survived by his wife of 44 years, Susan Tardy; children, Shelley Ryall, Steven Ryall, W.A. Jenkins, Mark Jenkins (Dessire), and Cherie Shell (Scott); grandchildren, Kyle Jenkins, Adam Jenkins, Shawna Keyser, Dakota Jenkins, Jeremey Jenkins (Gina), and Caleb Shell; great-grandchild, Riley; siblings, Michael Tardy (Kathy), and David Tardy (Susan); as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Donations can be made in Carroll's honor to the American Cancer Society.
