Cary Easley Shelton, Jr.

Cary Easley Shelton, Jr., 69, of Hopewell, Va. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Cary was preceded in death by his parents, Easley Shelton, Sr. and Theresa Buchannan Shelton. He is survived by his loving wife of over 44 years, Darlene Shelton; daughters, Heather Thornton (Mike), and Rebekah Kareemer; grandchildren, Autumn Thornton, and Skyler Kareemer; brothers, David Shelton (Karen), Jimmy Shelton (Jennifer), and Ralph Shelton; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will have visiting hours from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm at the church.
