Catherine Cole

Catherine Brady Cole, age 66, of Prince George, VA, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. She was born in Surry County, VA, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Virginia Shabloski Brady. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Harrell Cole, Sr., and a nephew, Phillip Sanderson. Catherine was a founding member of Rivers Edge Bible Church, and the owner and operator of Coles Repair and Recycling for over 15 years. Early in her life, she was a Prince George Recreation Department volunteer and coach. She was affectionately known as the â??Grandmaâ? of North Elementary School, Prince George, and had a great love for animals, constantly picking up strays and taking them in. Catherine was a very giving person, and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Clifford H. Cole, Jr. and his fiancé, Edwina Starke, and Patricia Cole Daves and her husband, Chris; grandchildren, Alexandria Nicole Wiseman and Casey Cole Wiseman; sister, Marie Brady Sanderson and husband, John; nephew, Ben Sanderson and wife, Angela; and great niece, Victoria Sanderson, all of Prince George. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Hopewell on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held there on Saturday, March 15, at 11 a.m. with interment following in Bermuda Memorial Park.
