Many special nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Catherine was a member of Broad Street Church, Mooresville, NC and former member of First United Methodist Church Hopewell, VA.
She graduated from Thomas Dale High School in Chester, VA where she was active in the arts and theatre. She began her career with State Farm Insurance in Richmond, VA then moving to Allied Signal in Chesterfield, VA, then to Chesterfield County Social Services from where she retired. Catherine was the quintessential southern lady! She was also an amazing artist and poet and to those who knew her best, a prankster with a devilish sense of humor. Her greatest joy was her family especially her grandchildren to whom she was Mema. When at Mema and Bepa's you were fixed all your favorite foods, rode on the lawn tractor, had your picture taken with every activity, took trips to Ben Franklin for toys and treats and were by all accounts spoiled rotten, but most of all adored.
To her son Paul, she was his biggest fan and supporter. To her daughter in law Kathy, she was a source of great strength and inspiration especially as exampled by her faith.
While she will be greatly missed, we will heal and continue forward knowing she is saving a place for us at her heavenly table.
