Catherine Jewel Wright

Catherine Jewel Wright, 89, of Lakeland, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Mae Weeks; her loving husband of 64 years, Melvin Andrew Wright; brothers, Paul Weeks, and Wade Weeks; and a sister, Patricia Weeks. She is survived by her sons, Ronald Wright and wife Virginia, Donald Wright and wife Melinda; daughters, Judy Wright, Wanda Mahler and husband Carl, Brenda Jester and husband Jim; brothers, Everette Weeks and wife Maryann; and Layton Weeks; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Mrs. Wright was a long time member of Lake Gibson Nazarene Church in Lakeland, FL. She was a loving mother, grand mother and great grand mother. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
