Cecelia Norford Bullard, 75, of Chester, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 8th , 2004, after a brief struggle with cancer. “Celia” was proud to be a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, where she was loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Bullard, Sr. and her son-in-law, John Watts. She is survived by a daughter, Thelma Watts, a son, Phillip Bullard, Jr. and his wife, Cindi, two granddaughters, Lisa Chafin and her husband James, and Lauri Talley and her husband, Otis, two great-grandsons, Zackery Chafin and Nikolas Talley, a great-grandaughter, Sierra Talley, two brothers, Charlie and Raymond Norford, two sisters, Jeannetta Connor and Elizabeth Yeatts, a devoted brother-in-law, Dillard Yeatts and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday evening, October 11th, from 6 to 8 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son funeral Homes, where a service of resurrection will also be held on Tuesday, October 12th at 10 AM, officiated by the Rev. Wm. Anthony Layman and the Rev. Donald Collins, with interment in Sunset Cemetery.
