Cecil Mckoy Gibson

Cecil McKoy “BoBo” Gibson, Jr, 79, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Riverview on the Appomattox Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil McKoy Gibson, Sr. and Louise Aldridge Gibson; and a sister, Delorise Lamantia Gibson. BoBo is survived by his caring brother, Wayne Gibson; son, Carl Gibson; daughter, Renee Gibson; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
