Cecil Darling Jackson, Jr.

Cecil Darling "Butch" Jackson, Jr., 73, of Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Darling, Sr. and Victoria Canterbury Jackson. Butch served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had a love for reading and was proud of his collection of over 3000 books. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. Butch is survived by his sons, Shawn Sinclair (Heather) and Matthew Grover; grandchildren, Roman Sinclair, Scarlett Sinclair, and Jack Grover; sisters, Anne and Barbara; and several other nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
