Charles Bach

Charles Bach, 71, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. He was the son of the late John J. Bach. He was also preceded in death by siblings, John J. Bach, Paul Bach, Elaine Niepokoj, and Miriam Hatchett. Mr. Bach was a Veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. In his early life he worked in show business on Broadway. Afterwards, he was employed with Honeywell retiring after many years of service. Mr. Bach was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing when he could. But his greatest passion was his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother, Miriam Bugbee Bach; children, JoAnna Bach, John Joseph Bach, and Katie Bach; grandchildren, Emily Walker, Marci Lamica, Ethan Lamica, Stella Pearson, Sebastian Arwood, and Isabella Arwood; siblings, Jerry Bach, Bill Bach (Joanne) and Steve Bach (Betty); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Memorial Chapel, Fort Lee, VA. Interment will be private.
