Charles Blazek

Charles Louis Blazek, 57, of Prince George, died tragically on Monday, December 8, 2008. He was the loving son of Dr. Louis Blazek and the late Annie Mae Harrison Blazek. Charles was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who adored his family. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights and was employed at Picture Lake Campground in Dinwiddie. Charles was a hard working and selfless man who loved the outdoors and history. Along with his father he is survived by his wife, Sherry Blazek; children, Tarah Guinn and husband, Aaron, John Blazek and wife, Vanja and Charles Blazek; grandchildren, Ella Blazek and Liam Guinn; brother, Glenn Blazek and wife, Sue; nephews, Daniel Blazek, Christopher DeBusk, and Travis DeBusk; niece, Sarah Blazek; mother-in-law, Evelyn Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 12, 2008 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service.
