Charles Richard Crump, Jr.

Charles Richard Crump, Jr., known as Chuck, 60, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on May 15, 2021. Chuck was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Elsie Crump. He was happily married for 28 years to Teresa. They raised two children Chip and Catelyn, Later Chuck became a grandfather to Ashton and Avery through Chip. Chuck is also survived by his sister Annette and Walter McKibbon with nephews Chris and Paul.
In his youth, Chuck graduated from Clover High School and went on to work for Dominion Energy for nearly 43 years. Chuck was an active member of the Appomattox Game Club and an avid hunter, fisherman, and overall outdoorsman. Chuck was known by friends and family as a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A visitation will take place an hour prior starting at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Dale Memorial Park.
